On it's 100th birthday in 2017 Ashley and Kyle purchased this 1917 family farmhouse with the promise to return it to it's original beauty with their own special vision.
This home was owned by and passed down generation to generation by one local family. It provided safe haven and warm welcome but had become tired and in need of a fresh start. When you think renovate, you think replace. The approach to this home instead was to excavate and uncover all the natural and rustic beauty of the original home. The roof and columns were replaced in 2015/2016. The dual hi seer HVAC systems and all ductwork were done in 2017 & 2020. All electric has been replaced. Plumbing updated at kitchen and baths. Septic was inspected when they purchased and has been maintained since... recently pumped and in good working order. Crawl space dug out, encapsulated, self-draining dehumidifier installed 2020,. Exterior of house any rot and broken tiles repaired and repainted by Five Star Painters. New dishwasher in 2022, Double retro iio refrigerators, and the amazing ilve Italian gas stove are now included in the sale. Floors and ceilings have been restored by hand.
